Life Sculpture This is a piece that I did for my 3D design class in spring 2001. We each picked a word and we based out sculpture off that word. Mine word was life. I guess I will leave the communication of the word through this sculpture to your imaginations. This work was sculpted our of chicken wire, burlap and plaster of paris.
Ceramic house (spring 2000) This is a house that I built in my advanced ceramics class back in the spring of 2000. The outside is painted with acrylic paints. There are yellow shutters on the sides and a brick chimney which you cannot see from the picture. There is a hole in the bottom of the house to allow a light to be inserted so that you can see a cat sitting on a chair and a picture hanging on the wall which are on the inside of the house. It was a fun but yet time consuming piece to build.
Ceramic TV set This piece was done in the same class as the ceramic house. It is a little TV with a troll, (I use to collect them as most kids did back then) flowers, clouds, and a brick wall inside. It is pretty small.
Untitled (Fall 2001) (I must apologize for the poor condition of this picture of this piece.) This is a drawing done from a collage of pictures out of magazines. This drawing is mainly prisma colors but I also used oil pastels and turpeniod to cover large areas.
