This page has one example of a picture I did in my photo I class and the rest are paintings that I did in my painting I class. I took these classes in the
fall of 2001.

Doors of Omnious Portent. (left)
This is a Photograph that I took with my grandfathers 40 year old Zies
Ikon camera that I modified in Photoshop. This Photo was done for my
Photography class at TCU (fall 2001). I really enjoy this photo first of all
because it is a picture of my cat Blue. He is looking out the window but
the image behind the glass is blurred to where you cannot see through.
It was taken on a rainy day and the window was fogged up but Blue was
very focused on something out there. I was very happy to turn in a
successful picture of one of my cats which was a forbidden subject matter
in the class. Nevertheless, my professor gave me an A!
Untitled (right)
This is my most recent painting done for my Painting I class at TCU (fall 2001). It is a painting of chance. Before we started, my class mates and I were partnered up by drawing keys and matching them up with each other and then going into another room. In the room we sat down and opened dictionaries for one another, closed our eyes, then picked out a word with our fingers. My words were standard, another word for microscopic lens, and there were a few other words that I cannot remember.
Untitled (left)
This was the first painting I did for my painting class and this was my
professors favorite one (fall 2001). It is a still life.
Untitled (right)
This was done in my painting I class (fall 2001). It is a still life with some personal objects. The Hawaiian girl I got from my trip to Hawaii and the train was given to me by my Grandfather Moore who went to Purdue. It seems as if these playful objects are coming from out side the box which is the yellow orange rectangle in the center.
Self Portrait (left)
This is a self Portrait that was done in my painting I class (fall 2001). The
assignment started with a color collage with the colors of your choice. We
then incorporated these colors into the painting. I believe that this was my
most successful painting of the semester. It is definitely one of my
favorite pieces of all time.
Cookie Monster (right)
This was the second painting I did. It is a still life painted in the primary colors.
Childhood Memories (left)
This painting has objects that I recieved as a kid. The Smurf was from my parents. The little kitty and dog in the cup was a gift from my Grandmother Williams who got it for me when she took me to Ceder Point, a theme park in Ohio. The train was from my Grandfather Moore who went to Purdue. I am not sure where I got the little bear. All I know is that I had quite a few of these little bear pins and I loved them as a kid.
